May 20 Last Day for Third Base

The last day of Third Base for 2021-2022 will be Friday, May 20, 2022. This week must be prepaid by May 13th in order for a child to attend. Please see your Site Director or call our office for more information.

Tax Time – Account Statements

Parents/guardians who need a 2021 account statement for tax purposes may request a copy from their Third Base Site Director or call our office at 304-766-0378. If your child attended a Summer Camp or Summer Academy program at a site other than your regular Third Base, please call our office to request the summer statement.

Third Base Enrollment

Please note that it could take several days to process a Third Base enrollment form due to the overwhelming number of enrollments we have received. You will be notified when your enrollment has been processed. At that time, we will let you know when your child or children can start, or if they will be on a waitlist.  We currently have waitlists at Alban, Central, Ruthlawn, Holz, Montrose, Pinch, Pt Harmony, Weberwood, and Overbrook, and several sites are nearing their enrollment capacity. We are working to hire additional staff to eliminate these waitlists, and we appreciate your patience. If you have questions, please call us at 304-766-0378. Thank you.

Help Wanted

KCSCEP is now hiring Third Base employees for the 2021-2022 school year. We have an immediate need for assistants at Central and Ruthlawn, along with other locations. If you love working with children and want to work part-time without having to work nights, weekends, and holidays, this is the job for you! All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must pass a drug test, background check, health physical, and ergonomics assessment. The hours are 1:15-6 p.m., Monday through Friday when school is in session. The starting pay is $10/hour for assistants and $13.50/hour for site directors. There are no benefits. Third Base Enrollment Calls

KCSCEP staff are currently calling families who submitted enrollment forms for Third Base 2021-2022 to let them know their enrollment status — enrolled or wait list. Families who receive confirmation of enrollment may send their children to Third Base starting the first week of school. If your child is on a wait list, he or she will not be able to start until we notify you that space is available. If you have not submitted an enrollment form, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Only those students who have been approved for enrollment by July 30 will be eligible to start the first week of school. Any enrollment received after July 30 will be given a later start date, pending space availability. For more information, see the Third Base tab under Programs, or call us at 304-766-0378.

Open enrollment begins today, April 12, for the following KCSCEP programs:

• 2021-2022 School Year – Third Base afterschool care
• 2021 Summer Academy – Third Base afterschool care
• 2021 Summer Camps – all day care

2021-2022 Open Enrollment Starts April 12

Open enrollment for our Third Base programs for the 2021-2022 school year starts April 12. The enrollment forms and information will be here on our web site under Programs, Third Base After School Program, or you can call our office for assistance at 304-766-0378 starting that date.
