2025 Statements

Need a 2025 statement of Third Base and/or Summer Camp expenses for your taxes or flex spending account? Here are three ways to get yours:

MyProcare.com – Log into your MyProcare account online. Select Reports. Under Customer Statement, select Run Report. Select the date range and run report. Print (you may have to right click to print). Don’t have a MyProcare account? Contact us to have a new link sent to you from Procare.

On Site – Ask your Site Director to print the statement for you.

KCSCEP Office — You can email us at KCSCEP@mail.kana.k12.wv.us and request your statement be sent by email. Please include your name, your child’s name, and the name of the Third Base and/or Summer Program your child attended. You can also call us at 304-766-0378.

Important Dates

The first day of Third Base is Monday, August 18, 2025. Your registration form must be received by Friday, August 8, to allow for processing in order to start on August 18, pending space availability.  Enrollments received after August 8, will have a later start date. You will receive an email with your enrollment status (enrolled or wait list).

The sites that already have wait lists are noted below. We will keep this updated regularly, as several sites are nearing their enrollment capacity.

Please note that the following sites have already reached their enrollment capacity for 2025-2026. Any additional enrollments will be placed on a waiting list for these sites: Bridgevew, Central, Elk, Flinn, Montrose, Overbrook, Pinch, Ruthlawn.

2025-2026 Third Base Enrollment Status

Over the next week, families will receive an email with their enrollment status for Third Base 2025-2026. The emails will be sent to the email the parent/guardian listed on the enrollment form.

Families who are on the waiting list for Central, Elk, Overbrook, and Pinch were sent emails last month.

Summer Camps Close July 3-4

Kanawha County Schools announced this afternoon that all offices and programs will be closed on Thursday, July 3. All Summer Camps will be closed July 3rd. Camps are also closed on Friday, July 4, for Independence Day. All private pay families who paid for the current week will receive a credit on their account.

Swimming Cancelled 6/19/25

The afternoon forecast calls for showers and storms capable of producing localized flooding and high wind gusts, with forecasters calling it a “high alert day”. Projected radar shows that these storms will be in our area about the time that our camps would be swimming. We believe it is best to err on the side of caution and cancel swimming for today. The children’s safety is the most important factor in the decision. If the weather clears up later in the afternoon, the camp staff will take them outside for a water day since they will all have their swimsuits.

KCSCEP Office Closed 6/3-6/5/2025

All Kanawha County Schools offices are closed June 3-5, 2025. We will return to the office on Friday, June 6.

No Third Base on June 2.

The last day of Third Base for this school year is Friday, May 30, 2025. We will not offer Third Base on Monday, June 2, the last day of school. We thank our Third Base families and staff for a great year. Have a wonderful summer!

All Summer Camps Are Full – Space No Longer Available

All KCSCEP Summer Camps have reached their enrollment capacity. We cannot accept any more applications for these sites, and a waiting list has been started for each.

Summer Camp Enrollment Confirmations

Summer Camp enrollment confirmation emails have been sent to everyone we received an application from. If you did not receive an email, please contact our office at 304-766-0378 or email us at KCSCEP@mail.kana.k12.wv.us.

Limited space is still available. Please submit your summer camp application soon, before the sites reach waiting list status.

Open Enrollment – April 1

Open Enrollment for 2025-2026 Third Base and Summer Camp 2025 begins Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The enrollment forms will be available on their respective pages starting on that date.
